You do not need to register prior to visiting the open house. Just show up, have a look around, ask questions. Generally there will be a registration sheet there for you to sign in. This is used as a way for the agents to advise the homeowners how many, and who visited.

And when you show up to view the open house, then let the hosting agent know that you are currently represented by an agent – and who that agent is. If you have their contact information handy, then give that information to the host as well.
